Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa is seeking an Ambulatory Operating Room RN to independently care for a sub-specialty patient group using the nursing process and clinical standards. You will delegate tasks and serve as preceptor/charge nurse when assigned.

Minimum qualification is 2 years RN experience; OR experience is strongly preferred and pediatric cases are a plus. Location at St. Josephs Hospital, full-time days.

• Location: St. Josephs Hospital,3001 W Doctor Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607
• Status: Fulltime
• Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• On Call: No
• Always in person

Summary:

The Ambulatory Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For consideration for this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room. Experience with pediatric case types a strong plus.

• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
