Job summary

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is seeking an RN, HHA Educator / Home Health Aide Instructor for our LHCSA client in Nassau County, NY. This is a direct-hire, full-time in-office role with no field visits.

The RN will lead orientation and ongoing education for Home Health Aides, covering care processes, documentation, and HHA certification. Evening or weekend teaching may be required; commuting to Nassau, Suffolk, and Bronx training sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS RN license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Masters in Education, Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of Home Health RN experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to commute to Nassau County office, Suffolk County and Bronx for training.

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for a Registered Nurse, RN, HHA Educator, Home Health Aide Instructor, for our Client, a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) located in Nassau County, NY. This is a Direct Hire, Full Time position.

RN - HHA Educator / Home Health Aide Instructor - Registered Nurse

Overview:

The Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) provides advanced clinical services and emotional support to patients. With a comprehensive range of services supported by an integrated health system, the staff is ready to assist in all areas of home health care services.

Responsibilities:

RN will conduct orientation and ongoing education/ Certification for Home Health Aides hired for the Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA). Education may include the overall processes related to Care, aspects of care in the home setting, documentation and navigation of the electronic record, HHA Certification and topics commonly seen in the Home Health setting. It's strictly an in-office position, no field visits required. Previous education experience preferred but not 100% required, but must have Field Supervision experience in home care.

Qualifications:

Valid NYS RN license, Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required, Masters in Education, Nursing or related field preferred. Two years of Home Health RN experience. Excellent Computer skills required. Ability to commute to Nassau County office, Suffolk County and Bronx for training as needed. Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, with some evening and weekend availability to teach a class as needed.
