Job summary

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is seeking an RN, HHA Educator / Home Health Aide Instructor for our LHCSA client in Nassau County, NY. This is a direct-hire, full-time in-office role with no field visits.

The RN will lead orientation and ongoing education for Home Health Aides, covering care processes, documentation, and HHA certification. Evening or weekend teaching may be required; commuting to Nassau, Suffolk, and Bronx training sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS RN license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Masters in Education, Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of Home Health RN experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to commute to Nassau County office, Suffolk County and Bronx for training.

Responsibilities

• RN will conduct orientation and ongoing education/certification for Home Health Aides.
• Education may include the overall processes related to care, documentation and navigation of the electronic record, HHA Certification.
• It's strictly an in-office position, no field visits required.
• Some evening and weekend availability to teach a class as needed.
