Job summary

True Care is seeking an RN Educator to develop and deliver on-site training for Home Health Aides and Personal Care Assistants across our New York locations. The Educator ensures alignment with NYSDOH regulations and agency quality standards while supporting learners at varying skill levels.

The role focuses on strengthening caregiver and nurse knowledge, improving patient outcomes, and maintaining training records. On-site work and occasional travel are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New York State, in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• 1 year of home care experience.
• New RN graduates considered.
• Must speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese fluently.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and facilitate in-person HHA and PCA training across multiple True Care locations.
• Identify and collect evidence-based materials that support caregiver and nurse learning needs.
• Assess learner progress and adjust teaching strategies, curriculum, or materials as needed.
• Create engaging instructional techniques to enhance participation and retention.
• Ensure educational programs comply with NYSDOH standards and agency policies.
• Maintain educational records and collaborate with internal teams on quality initiatives.
• Support ongoing staff development by reinforcing clinical best practices and care standards. Travel between locations may be required.

About the Role

The (RN) Educator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering specialized on-site and in-person training programs for Home Health Aides and Personal Care Assistants. The Educator ensures all instruction aligns with NYSDOH regulations, recognized quality standards, and internal quality improvement initiatives. You will support learners at various skill levels, helping them deepen their knowledge in caring for patients and strengthen their ability to provide safe, compassionate, high-quality care.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  All classes are conducted onsite and in person; some travel between locations is required.

Requirements

• Current RN license in New York State, in good standing
• 2 years minimum of Nursing Experience
• 1 year of Home care experience
• New RN Graduates are accepted into the role
• Must speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese fluently
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
