Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a leader for the Burn ICU within the Burn Care Center. This full‑time Day shift role focuses on directing nursing workflow, staffing and clinical excellence for patients with complex burn injuries.

You will hire and mentor nurses, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and drive quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across the center. A strong leadership background in Burn ICU is essential.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
• Must have recent Burn ICU experience
• Must have charge and/or preceptor experience

Additional Preferences

• BSN strongly preferred for leadership role
• Must have previous leadership experience (supervisory, Lead, Charge and/or Preceptor experience).
• Must have recent Burn ICU experience
• Prefer minimum of 3 years experience in critical care nursing, ICU and Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Prefer experience with Infection Control and Wound Care
