Job summary

Complete Care at Groton Regency is seeking a qualified RN Registered Nurse for full-time 2nd shift to provide direct care to residents recently discharged and long-term residents.

You will administer medications, perform wound care, monitor health, create care plans, collaborate with physicians and therapists, educate families, document progress, and supervise LPNs/CNAs to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in CT.
• Pass background check, drug screen, professional references, and physical evaluation.
• Professional & clinical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications: oral, topical, IV, and injectable medications.
• Treatments: wound care, pain management, dressings.
• Assessment & Monitoring: health assessments, monitor changes, analyze data.
• Care Planning: create, update, and execute individualized care plans.
• Collaboration: coordinate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and others.
• Family & Resident Education: explain health status and care expectations.
• Documentation: maintain detailed health status records and progress.
• Team Oversight: supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care.
