Job summary

Complete Care at Dawnview is seeking an RN Registered Nurse to provide direct care on a 7p-7a shift. You will administer medications, perform treatments, conduct assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver individualized resident care.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a RN in West Virginia.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, references, and physical evaluation.
• Demonstrates professional and clinical leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, topical, IV, injectable).
• Perform treatments including wound care and dressings.
• Conduct health assessments and monitor changes.
• Create and update individualized care plans and execute them.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and other staff.
• Educate residents and families on health status and care expectations.
• Maintain detailed health status documentation and progress notes.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care.

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN's and CNA's ensuring quality care/teamwork
