Job summary

Complete Care, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for direct care of residents recently discharged from hospital and those in long-term care. The role offers growth opportunities and PRN with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Connecticut.
• Pass background check, drug screen, references and physical evaluation.
• Strong leadership and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications including oral, topical, IV and injections.
• Perform wound care, pain management and dressing changes.
• Conduct health assessments and monitor changes; analyze data.
• Create and update individualized care plans and implement them.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others.
• Educate residents and families on health status and care expectations.
• Document health status, care provided and patient progress.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care.

Here's What You'll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN’s and CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
