Job summary

Complete Care, Inc. provides skilled nursing care to people recently discharged from the hospital needing therapy and to those needing long-term care. The RN Registered Nurse will join a team dedicated to delivering high-quality care during the 2nd shift in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within Connecticut as an RN.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation.
• Leadership qualities with professional and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications: oral, topical, IV, injectable.
• Perform wound care and pain management; apply dressings.
• Conduct health assessments, monitor changes and analyze data.
• Create and execute individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, social workers and others.
• Educate residents and families about health status, changes and care expectations.
• Maintain detailed health care documentation.
• Oversee LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care and teamwork.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN’s and CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
