Complete Care at Meriden is hiring an RN Registered Nurse (Direct Care) to provide skilled nursing services to residents recently discharged from hospital and those requiring long-term care. Full and part-time positions are available, with growth opportunities.

PRN is available with experience, and daily pay options are offered. You will administer medications, conduct assessments, participate in care planning, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to ensure compassionate,

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Connecticut
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, references, and physical eval
• Professional and clinical leadership qualities

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, topical, IV, injectable)
• Perform wound care, manage pain, apply dressings
• Conduct health assessments and monitor changes
• Create, update and execute individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others
• Educate residents and families about health status and care expectations
• Document health status and progress accurately
• Oversee and delegate to LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN’s and CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
