Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Regional Float Pool serving the Southeast (Cape Girardeau) and surrounding communities. This part-time role (24 hours/week) involves night shifts and care across multiple Mercy facilities in the St.

Louis region. Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure) and 1 year of bedside Med Surg experience (2 years for ED/ICU).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Minimum 1 year bedside RN experience for Med Surg; 2 years for ED/ICU/other specialties.
• BLS required for Med Surg/Behavioral Health; ACLS for Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple Mercy facilities in the Southeast region.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for adult/geriatric patients.
• Collaborate with care teams and participate in shift-based float pool assignments.
