Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Regional Float Pool across Cape Girardeau and surrounding communities. The role supports adult/geriatric patients with standardized nursing care, rotating to multiple Mercy facilities as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, prefers BSN, and has 1 year of bedside RN experience (2 years for ED/ICU). Night shifts are included with regional/per-unit incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• One year of bedside RN experience for Med/Surg; two years for ED/ICU/other specialties; Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care per standards for adult/geriatric patients.
• Rotate across Mercy facilities within the regional footprint (St. Louis region) as part of the Regional Float Pool.
• Collaborate with diverse care teams and adapt to various hospital units as assigned.
