Job summary

Mercy Southeast (Cape Girardeau) and surrounding communities are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join Mercy’s Regional Float Pool. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care across adult/geriatric patients at several facilities within the St.

Louis region. This full‑time night shift position offers a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, generous benefits from day one, and a path to retirement with a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• 1 year of bedside RN experience for Med/Surg.
• 2+ years bedside RN experience for ICU/other specialties.
• BLS required; NRP/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
• Collaborate with diverse care teams across multiple facilities.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice and safety.
• Float across Med/Surg, Tele, ICU and other units as needed.
