Job summary

Mercy Hospitals is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Regional Float Pool in Cape Girardeau and surrounding communities. This part-time role (24 hours/week) involves night shifts across multiple Mercy facilities in the St.

Louis region, delivering high-quality adult/geriatric care and collaborating with diverse care teams. The position offers a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits from day one, and opportunities for tuition assistance, a Stay Premium program, and 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Minimum bedside RN experience: 1 year for Med-Surg; 2 years for ED/ICU and others.
• BLS certification for Med-Surg/Behavioral Health; CC requires BLS & ACLS.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
• Float across Mercy facilities in the St. Louis region as part of the Regional Float Pool.
• Collaborate with diverse care teams and patient populations.
• Support ongoing learning and adapt to night shift dynamics.
