Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Regional Float Pool, providing skilled bedside care across adult and geriatric patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care, reporting to facilities within Mercy’s regional footprint as discussed at hire.

The role supports Med/Surg, Ortho, Tele, ICU, and more, with night shifts and a sign-on bonus. Eligible for education assistance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• One year bedside RN experience for Med/Surg; two years for ICU/critical care.
• Certifications: BLS (Med/Surg) and ACLS (Critical Care) per unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care across adult/geriatric patients.
• Report to facilities within Mercy's regional footprint and follow hiring leader guidance.
• Float across Mercy Hospitals in the St. Louis region and support multiple units as needed.
