Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of accreditation/quality experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Experience coordinating TJC, State, and CMS surveys within the last three years preferred.
• Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Current BLS certification or within first 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital and medical staff to achieve transformational change.
• Manage assignments with strong organizational skills.
• Educate patients and provide teaching materials as needed.
• Draft, revise, and enforce policies and procedures aligned with mission and standards.
• Educate staff on certification/accreditation initiatives.
• Develop and implement community outreach programs with leaders.
• Conduct audits, data abstraction, and chart reviews; input into systems.
• Monitor quality metrics for national standards and outcomes.
• Perform daily rounds to coordinate care and outcomes with the team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education with nursing/case management.
• Work with teams to improve patient experience scores.
• Ensure competency and understanding of patient needs with education staff.
• Provide timely feedback to stakeholders and physician relations.
• Track metrics and share reports with leadership and committees.
• Support committee presentations with data and analysis.
• Identify trends, create action plans, and modify programs.
• Lead multidisciplinary meetings affiliated with programs.
• Promote evidence-based practice and critical thinking for safety.
• Participate in regulatory/accreditation surveys as assigned.
• Travel to other hospital locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
