Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a RN QI Coordinator to support quality programs across the continuum of care. The role focuses on accreditation, survey preparation, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives under the Director of Quality.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hospital accreditation/quality experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and effective communication abilities. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of accreditation/quality experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Experience coordinating TJC survey preparation and participation in TJC, State, and CMS surveys within the last three (3) years preferred.
• Computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital and medical staff to drive transformational quality changes.
• Manage assignments with strong organizational skills.
• Educate patients through 1:1 teaching, classes, and develop materials.
• Draft, revise, and enforce policies in line with mission, regulations and standards.
• Provide education on certification/accreditation initiatives to hospital staff.
• Develop community outreach programs including health fairs and events.
• Conduct audits, data abstraction, and chart reviews; input data into software/tools.
