Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care (Step down) Unit at West Hospital. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and coordinate patient care across departments to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

The role requires active RN licensure, and a BSN is preferred but not required. BLS is required; ACLS is preferred at hire and must be obtained within 6 months of starting. New grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• BSN preferred, not required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Assess patient status and develop care plans.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments.
• Act as patient safety advocate and support quality improvement.
• Administer medications per policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
