Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care (Step down) unit at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating with the care team, and developing patient care plans.

A BSN is preferred; current RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required or preferred within hire terms. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and ensuring a safe environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience required.
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Current state RN licensure required.
• BLS/ACLS may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in Progressive Care (Step down).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications safely per policy and procedure.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
