Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Progressive Care (Step down) at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care and coordinating patient plans in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has a BSN (preferred), active RN license, BLS/ACLS preferred, and at least 6 months of acute care RN experience; strong collaboration and care coordination are essential to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred but not required
• Current RN license in the State of Ohio
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and plan of care
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination
• Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement
• Administer medications safely according to policies and procedures
