Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse in Texas to manage patients with medical or surgical needs, lead the nursing team, and ensure safe, competent care aligned with hospital policies and philosophy.

The RN will assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care, coordinating with staff and other departments. Opportunities may include weekend/evening/night shifts and on-call duties, with a strong emphasis on service excellence.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Texas; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP/Fetal Monitoring certifications as applicable must be current.
• Experience: one year full-time or three years part-time in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures, providing professional nursing leadership and care planning.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and ancillary departments; oversee nursing staff under supervision; ensure service excellence; may work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, or on-call.
