Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse in Texas to manage patients with medical or surgical needs and provide professional leadership to the care team. The RN will assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with facility standards.

Texas-licensed RNs (compact accepted) with BLS are required; BSN preferred. Unit-specific certifications (ACLS/NRP/PALS) may be needed. Weekend/evening/on-call duties may be necessary to support patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Texas or compact state.
• BSN preferred.
• Must have and maintain BLS certification.
• Current ARC/AHA certifications as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, guide and evaluate nursing care per facility policies.
• Occasional weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call status.

Education

Texas RN license

BSN preferred

Nursing degree (ADN/BSN/Diploma)

Current BLS

ARC/AHA certifications
