The RN provides leadership, plans and evaluates nursing care in accordance with hospital policy, ensuring safe and professional care. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team, adherence to the code of conduct, and availability for weekends or on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas or compact state, or valid temporary Texas license (within waiting period).
• BSN preferred.
• Must have and maintain BLS.
• Must have and maintain current ARC/AHA certifications (ACLS/NRP/Fetal Monitor) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Provide professional leadership and guidance to the healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per facility policies.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and ancillary departments; resolve concerns as needed.
• May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, or on-call as required.
