Job summary

Asbury Springhill in Erie, PA, is seeking a PRN RN to provide individualized resident care and coordinate with CNAs and LPNs. The role includes transcribing orders, notifying physicians of changes, and managing admissions and medications in a five-star senior living setting.

Qualified candidates must hold a PA RN license and CPR certification, with at least two years in Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or geriatric nursing. This PRN role may be eligible for shift differentials and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing experience.
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.
