Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide pediatric home health care in Elmhurst, IL. You will apply the nursing process, deliver patient-centered care, and work under a Clinical Supervisor in a 1:1 home setting (G-tube, trach, ventilator).

This role includes night shifts (Wed Thu Sat Sun) and requires active nursing license in IL, BLS, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License in the state in which the practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN or LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Col informs, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Other Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.

Maxim Healthcare is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care, under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor. The Nurse will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Location and scheduling

Elmhurst, IL 1:1 Position in the home setting: Pediatric G tube trach and ventilator (Astral)

Open Nights: Wed Thurs Sat and Sun Nights

Pay Rate

$35-$45
