Banner Surgery Center – Union Hills, managed by Atlas Healthcare Partners, is located in Glendale, AZ. The role provides supervision and support of clinical operations, staff, and surgical Preop/PACU patients, with responsibilities spanning budgeting and resource allocation to ensure quality patient care.

The position emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with physicians, staff, and management to drive service excellence and adherence to accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a strong knowledge of clinical care as normally obtained through the completion of an associate’s degree in nursing.
• Excellent human relations and communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical operations, staff, and Preop/PACU patients across general surgery.
• Manage finances and personnel to allocate resources for quality patient care.
• Provide patient-centered care and facilitate interdisciplinary care planning.
• Interpret policies and provide leadership and problem solving to internal customers.
• Hire, mentor, and evaluate staff to promote engagement and retention.
• Support process improvement and quality management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Deliver excellent service experience to customers daily.
