Job summary

Banner Surgery Center – Peoria, managed by Atlas Healthcare Partners, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical center near Peoria, AZ. You will assess, plan, implement and document nursing care for diverse surgical patients.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, a valid RN license, and BLS/ACLS; PALS within 90 days if pediatrics is involved.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days if assigned ASC services pediatrics.
• Experience in PreOp/PACU preferred.
• New licensed RNs or those in Perianesthesia track may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and history; plan and document nursing care.
• Develop and update care plans and discharge plans with multidisciplinary team.
• Implement care and coordinate with physicians and staff.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to care and adjust plans.
• Document care accurately in patient records.
• Lead and mentor staff when needed and participate in quality initiatives.
