Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Current state licensure to practice as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Assess preoperative and postoperative status per policy, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological and pain needs.
• Interpret monitors and describe pathophysiology of conditions observed.
• Develop and implement a perianesthesia plan of care and coordinate hand‑offs.
