Job summary

SCA Health seeks an Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp PACU unit, to support perioperative care. The role requires at least one year in PreOp or PACU and current nursing licensure. ACLS and BLS are expected; PALS if pediatric care is involved.

Expect responsible hands-on care across pre- and post-anesthesia phases and collaborative teamwork with anesthesia and surgical staff. Compensation is hourly, with a range of $40.00 to $50.82 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Current state licensure to practice nursing.
• BLS/BCLS, ACLS; PALS certification if pediatric care is included.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status per policy.
• Interpret monitors and describe underlying physiology.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Provide hand-off report to teammates with relevant details.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control and privacy.
