Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre-Operative and PACU care to ensure patient safety throughout the peri-anesthesia continuum. You will educate patients, perform assessments, and develop individualized care plans pre- and post-surgery.

The role includes monitoring post-anesthesia patients, managing pain, and ensuring discharge readiness with clear caregiver instructions. Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and nursing degree are required.

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Ability to learn and utilize EMR systems and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative education and instructions.
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and develop care plans.
• Document assessments and care plans in the medical record.
• Monitor patients in PACU post-anesthesia and manage pain.
• Ensure discharge readiness and educate patients and caregivers on post-operative care.
