Zusammenfassung

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN for Pre-Op & PACU to ensure patient safety across peri-anesthesia care. The role includes preparing patients for procedures, delivering education, assessing needs, and developing individualized care plans while coordinating with the surgical team.

The nurse will monitor patients in PACU, manage pain, document care, and support discharge planning, with a focus on CMS and hospital standards and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Qualifikationen

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide pre-operative education and instructions.
• Assess and monitor post-anesthesia PACU patients and manage pain.
• Document assessments, care plans, and post-operative interventions in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to ensure patient safety and discharge readiness.
