Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN for the Pre-Op & PACU role to ensure patient safety across peri-anesthesia care. The nurse will educate patients, perform health assessments, and develop care plans while monitoring recovery and discharge readiness. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications include BLS and ACLS certifications, and an accredited nursing degree (ASN/BSN). The position emphasizes compliance with safety and CMS standards, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide pre-operative education.
• Assess and monitor post-anesthesia patients in the PACU.
• Document assessments and care plans in the medical record.
• Recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately.
• Maintain compliance with CMS, state, CDC, and AAAHC standards and infection control.
