Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN for Pre-Op and PACU to ensure patient safety across peri-anesthesia care. You will educate patients, perform health assessments, and develop individualized care plans. You will monitor patients after surgery and ensure discharge readiness with clear follow-up instructions.

Responsibilities include documenting care, recognizing emergencies, and collaborating with the team to maintain high-quality, safe patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Pre-operative care: assess patients and plan individualized care.
• Monitor post-anesthesia care and manage pain control in PACU.
• educate patients and caregivers on discharge instructions and follow-up care.
• Document all care and interventions clearly in the medical record.
• Recognize emergencies and respond using clinical judgment.
