Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN for Pre-Op & PACU to ensure safe peri-anesthesia care from pre-procedure education through post-anesthesia recovery. Responsibilities include planning, education, and post-operative monitoring to prepare patients and families for discharge.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, hospital teams, and caregivers, maintaining safety, and following CMS/AAAHC guidelines while supporting quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure assessments and plan of care for surgical patients.
• Provide education and prepare patients for procedures.
• Monitor patients in PACU and manage post-operative pain.
• Maintain documentation in the medical record and adhere to safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to ensure smooth perioperative care.
