Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post Intensive Care Unit III at the New Brunswick campus. The unit features 19 beds with bedside monitors and capability for step-down ICU care, serving a range of critical and ventilated patients.

The RN will work night shifts, 36 hours per week (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), with potential weekend/holiday rotation. Requires NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, ASN or Diploma; BSN preferred, 1+ year RN experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence-based practice.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members.
• Collaborate with other care providers to meet patient needs.
