RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post Intensive Care Unit III at the New Brunswick campus. You will care for a diverse patient mix in a 19-bed unit with heart monitor and step-down capabilities, working the night shift in a 36-hour week.

Required ASN or Nursing Diploma with NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, strong communication, and computer skills. Preference for BSN and 1 year experience, with ventilation experience valued.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN preferred and must be completed within 5 years if applicable.
• Active New Jersey RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics.
• Practice safety and apply evidence-based care with team collaboration.
• Report safety issues and potential medical errors promptly.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members.
• Prioritize care with measurable outcomes and effective communication.
