Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Intensive Care Unit III at the New Brunswick campus. The role requires night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a 36-hour work week and some weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care in a high acuity unit, supervising team tasks, and coordinating with the care team while adhering to regulatory standards and the ANA code of ethics.

Qualifications

• Required ASN or Nursing Diploma with NJ RN license.
• BSN preferred or must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Ensure safety and apply evidence-based practices.
• Supervise delegation and collaborate with the care team.
• Set priorities and evaluate outcomes with measurable improvements.
