Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine at the White Marsh Surgery Center in Nottingham, MD 21236 seeks an OR RN for a day shift with casual/on-call employment. Position involves PRN scheduling with 8-hour shifts 7am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays, minimum 4 shifts per 6-week cycle.

Responsibilities include caring for patients undergoing gender-affirming, facial reconstruction, breast, abdominal, colorectal, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, orthopedic and plastic surgery along with pain

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months recent RN experience required; Preop PACU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing complex surgical procedures in the Johns Hopkins White Marsh Surgery Center.
• Support perioperative nursing care from preop through PACU.
• Collaborate with a world-class surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months recent RN experience required; Preop PACU experience required


• BSN from Accredited Nursing Program preferred, but applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a BSN program


• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required at time of hire

Salary Range: Minimum $53.07/hour - Maximum $53.07/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
