Job summary

The Johns Hopkins White Marsh Surgery Center in Nottingham, MD is seeking an OR RN for day shift, casual/on‑call PRN. 7am–5:30pm with staggered start times; no weekends, holidays, or on‑call required, minimum of 4 eight‑hour shifts in a 6‑week cycle.

You will care for patients undergoing gender-affirming, facial, breast, abdominal surgeries, and more across multiple specialty areas; prior OR circulating experience is desired.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months recent RN experience required; Preop PACU experience required
• BSN from Accredited Nursing Program preferred, but applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a BSN program
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing gender affirming care, facial reconstruction, breast surgery
• Work across colorectal, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, orthopedic and plastic surgery procedures

Weekly working hours: PRN Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts w/staggered start times between 7am-5:30pm - No weekends, no holidays and no on-call (minimum of 4 8-hour shifts in a 6-week schedule required)
At The Johns Hopkins White Marsh Surgery Center, the OR RN's care for patients undergoing gender affirming care, facial reconstruction, breast surgery, abdominal surgery. Colorectal, Gastroenterology, Opthalmology, orthopedic and plastic surgery in addition to pain management procedures. The OR RN applicant should have recent and diverse OR circulating experience.

Salary Range: Minimum $53.07/hour - Maximum $53.07/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
