Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks an OR RN at the White Marsh Surgery Center to support patients undergoing gender-affirming and various surgical procedures. The role involves care for patients across gender-affirming, facial, breast, abdominal, colorectal, GI, ophthalmology, orthopedic and plastic surgery, along with pain management procedures.

Minimum 6 months RN experience plus Preop PACU exposure is required. BSN preferred; associate degree allowed with progression to BSN per nursing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months recent RN experience required; Preop PACU experience required.
• BSN from Accredited Nursing Program preferred, but applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a BSN program.

Weekly working hours: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts w/staggered start times between 7am-5:30pm - No weekends, no holidays and no on-call

At The Johns Hopkins White Marsh Surgery Center, the OR RN's care for patients undergoing gender affirming care, facial reconstruction, breast surgery, abdominal surgery. Colorectal, Gastroenterology, Opthalmology, orthopedic and plastic surgery in addition to pain management procedures. The OR RN applicant should have recent and diverse OR circulating experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months recent RN experience required; Preop PACU experience required

Salary Range: Minimum $38.64/hour - Maximum $61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
