Qualifications

• 1 year directly related experience.
• Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo 3 years directly related experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to assigned patients per shift.
• Work within Hospitals, Nursing division and departmental policies.
• Develop and document individualized care plans including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• Assist with special tests and procedures, ensure proper consent obtained.
• Participate in orientation; assist with precepting and evaluation of new staff.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden, adverse developments in patients.
• Ensure that patient medical records contain necessary information.
• Answer telephones and triage calls per departmental policy.
• Administer medications, including IV medications, and document clinical findings.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families.
• Enhance professional growth through participation in educational programs.
• Identify and report environmental conditions that may put a patient at risk.
