Job summary

UNM Hospital is seeking an RN Per Diem for Night shift coverage in the Medical/Cardiac ICU department in Albuquerque, NM. The role requires direct patient care across age groups and adherence to hospital policies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related experience, CPR/BLS certification within 30 days, NM RN license, and relevant nursing education. Per diem work includes weekday/night differential and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• RN program graduate with nursing licensure.
• Clinical experience in ICU/PCU/ED settings preferred.
• Ability to document care plans and procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients.
• Work within Hospitals, Nursing division and departmental policies.
• Develop and document individualized care plans including discharge planning and teaching.
• Assist with tests and procedures with proper consent.
