Job summary

Jobtome is seeking an RN Per Diem I in New Mexico (Albuquerque area) to provide direct nursing care across acute care settings (PCU/ICU/ED, etc.). This role rotates shifts with weekday nights and weekend coverage, and participates in discharge planning and family teaching as part of a patient-centered team.

The position requires two shifts per schedule, at least one weekend shift, and relevant CPR/BLS credentials with NM licensure or reciprocal agreement.

Qualifications

• RN Per Diem I position requires two shifts per schedule.
• One weekend shift per schedule.
• Current CPR for Healthcare/BLS provider or professional rescuers within 30 days.
• NM RN license or compliant reciprocal agreement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients.
• Follow hospital and department policies.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• Assist with tests and procedures and obtain proper consent.
• Participate in orientation and preceptor training as applicable.
• Assist with emergency measures and document findings.
• Maintain patient medical records with required information.
• Answer telephones and triage calls per policy.
• Administer medications, including IV medications, per Seven Rights.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through education.
