Job summary

AdventHealth Tarpon Springs is seeking an experienced RN to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced critical care environment.

You will document in EMR, collaborate with the care team, provide education to patients and families, mentor staff, and uphold infection control and regulatory standards. Florida- based full-time night-weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license (RN) required.
• Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• EKG knowledge required.
• 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Cerner or EPIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document care activities in EMR accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Provide education to patients and families.
• Mentor nursing staff and maintain safety protocols.
