Job summary

AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift in a critical care setting. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Strong EMR skills and leadership abilities are essential. Requirements: Associate degree in Nursing, current RN license and BLS; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with current license and BLS certification.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in critical care or specialty area is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in EMR documentation and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and data gathering.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders with safety.
• Monitor responses and adjust care plans for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Document care activities in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to maintain high-quality care.
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled environment.
• Respond to life-threatening situations using protocols.
