Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift to provide high‑quality patient care in a critical care setting. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes. Requirements include RN license and BLS; Cerner/EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN with active license and BLS certification.
• Experience in critical care and EA patient management.
• Knowledge of EMR systems Cerner or EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications accurately and monitor responses.
• Document care activities in the EMR and communicate with care teams.
• Provide patient/family education and participate in quality initiatives.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentor nursing staff as needed.
