Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of RN experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Active Ohio RN License.

Responsibilities

• Patient Placement and Flow - Obtain necessary clinical information to facilitate appropriate bed assignment. Efficiently facilitate all patient admissions, transfers and discharges utilizing relevant infection control policies. Serve as the point person for patient placement at all times.
• Clinical Policies and Procedures - Be clinically knowledgeable around disease entities; around epidemiological issues and around circumstances that may change where a patient can be placed.
• Performance Improvement - Monitor capacity and the patient flow process and participate in system-level approaches for improvement.
• System-Level Collaboration - Ensure the exchange of appropriate patient care and clinical information when patients are admitted, referred, transferred or discharged.
