Eisenhower Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Transfer Center Manager to oversee patient flow, bed allocation, and hospital transfers across departments. You will collaborate with physicians, ED, OR, and nursing leadership to optimize capacity and ensure compliant admission decisions.

The role requires an RN with a minimum of three years of direct patient care, California license, and advanced knowledge of Interqual criteria and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or enrolled in RN-Bachelor's program within 1 year of hire
• California RN License required
• Three (3) years RN experience with direct patient care

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies.
• Listen to staff regarding impediments to patient placement.
• Communicate bed availability and predicted flow issues to coordinators.
• Coordinate admission and transfer requests with physicians, ED and units.
• Ensure appropriate patient placement and levels of care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Directors and Clinical Coordinators on discharge planning
