Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Center is seeking a Part-time RN Patient Flow Coordinator (PFC, RN) for casual per-diem coverage. The role supports fast-paced clinic operations, performs nursing assessments, coordinates patient flow, and collaborates with the care team.

Shifts are 12 hours and may include weekends and holidays. Requirements include a BSN, current Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required for RN role.
• Current Illinois RN license and active BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for each patient using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate with physicians and care team.
• Document nursing assessments and care plans in the medical record with accuracy.
• Triage calls and prioritize patient needs; provide plan of care by phone or MyChart.
