Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a Patient Flow Coordinator, RN to provide direct patient care and clinical consultation within ICC locations. The role requires autonomous work within established guidelines and a 12-hour shift pattern including weekends and holidays.

The position emphasizes safe, high-quality care, collaboration with the healthcare team, and education for patients while complying with policies.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License issued by State of Illinois.
• BSN degree required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum two years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for each patient and document findings.
• Provide direct patient care and/or consultation using in-depth clinical knowledge.
• Demonstrate clinical competency including phlebotomy, medication administration and vital signs measurement.
• Coordinate care with other departments and outside agencies as needed.
• Educate patients and families and promote holistic care.
